Martyrs Plaque now has a more prominent position in the park after its move from the rockery in the Museum garden.  

Until I came across a couple of old postcard today I did know that Lichfield once had a bandstand hiding in the recreation grounds, it did take a moment to realise it was referring to Beacon Park.
